The Paradice Investment Management Goulburn to Sydney Corporate Charity Ride 2011 was recently held on Saturday 17th & Sunday 18th September. The charity ride saw teams compete in time trials on day 1 and then the 150km ride, starting in Goulburn and finishing in Camden on day 2. All money raised was donated to Odyssey House, Youth Solutions, Inspire Foundation and Goulburn’s St John of God Palliative Care and Oncology Support Unit.
Day 2 was an event the riders had been training months for. As the riders departed Goulburn they picked up great tail wind, which enabled them to fly to the first rest stop at Mittagong. The tail wind continued and allowed riders to soar into Camden where the patiently waiting crowds cheered on the riders as they crossed the finish line in record time. We are very grateful to Simon Poidevin and to all the teams that took part and we look forward to seeing them ride in next years ride.
